I've had a good few shirts taken in here as well as a pair of jeans and all have turned out perfect. I left a leather jacket in to get taken in last week and decided to wait to write the review until I got it back as I felt it would be the litmus test. I got the jacket back yesterday and at first I thought it hadn't been touched. There wasn't so much as a stray thread. When I tried it on it fit perfectly. I'm delighted with it.

They only accept cash and sometimes stuff mightn't be ready when you're expecting it to be but I've been very happy with all the jobs I've had done here and I'd definitely recommend them.

€8 to get a shirt taken in at the sides
€6 to get a pair of jeans darted
€25 to get a jacket taken in at the sides and sleeves narrowed

No, no, no.
One star as they two guys are lovely and the lady that is there sometimes is also but no star for alteration skills. I have used them twice.Once for a dress to be taken up-they only took up the lining and left the outer material where it was?? I had to attack it with the wonderweb myself as I needed it for the next night. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and reluctantly enough went back some months later with a dress. If i'm honest the location was the real reason I gave them another chance. This was disatrous.I needed it to be taken in an inch or two at the waist to give it more shape as the work -do I was going to was too formal to wear a belt with it. There was a loose separate sash going round the middle that was held with a simple stiitch I could have removed myself but sure said can you take that off while you're at it. Giving myself a week before I needed it this time I went to collect it at 16:50(they close at 17:00). I could here frantic sewing in the back when I asked for my dress, followed by one worried voice saying 'you shouldn't have rushed it, you're are going to have to take the dress apart and stitch it all up now as new, leave it.' I waited another half hour before the guy came back and said it was a tricky job could I come back tomorrow.(as opposed to I forgot to do it, then rushed it and made a mess of it).Got it back next day (with fingerprints) only to find they had left a hole where they had removed the sash at the back. So I had to retutn a third time for them to sew it up. They took the dress apart as it bunches at the side in gathers now. I pointed this out when I tried it on before paying. He said they would 'fall out' .It was a plain silk shift dress worth 260eur, expensive because of it's tailoring.Though I paid 76eur on sale luckily enough. It's ruined and he had the cheek to charge me 36euro, even though I sat waiting for over half an hour the first time it was due, then had to return with it twice! I wouldn't mind but I asked his advice when I first went in and he assured me it wasn't a big job at all, a simple cinching in at the waist. Then why did he take it apart..... AVOID!
