The best place to be! Tons to choose from, ranging from beer to cider to ale from all sorts of country. Most have already mentioned board games, but what I had just discovered recently was that it has a downstairs where you can play darts and Foosball! What more could you ask for!

It does not stop there, I was at the bar trying to decide what to choose from and the manager happened to be sitting there helped me by recommending and offering free tasting before I ordered it! Top bloke.

Yes it is pricey but I always thought that the tasting platter is a very good idea and good value. To taste three different types of beer at a reasonable glass size it will cost you a little over 6 euro, considering some of the beers can be as potent as 10% alcohol you needn't order more after your second platter!

The Back Sheep is a bit out of the way for me, but worth the trek. The selection of beer is great, plus there is a ton of space to sit and chat with a larger group. They even have The Franciscan Well Brewery on tap, which is a favourite of mine that I thought I could only get in Cork!
