I feel bad that I don't drop in here more often, because it's just a fantastic little bakery. As Helena said, it's worth going in just for the smell, but if you do go in then there's no way you'll be able to walk out without buying something. They've got a great selection of breads, but if you're looking for something in particular then you'd better get in early, because they do sell out of their more popular stuff quite quickly.

They also have a great selection of sweeties with cakes, muffins and tarts which are pretty much the same price you'd pay in any super market but SO much nicer! It's relatively easy to walk down the street and miss this little place, off to the side, but it's well worth making the effort to drop by and pick up some proper, fresh baking!

(Warning: Weirdly enough, given the name, I've never dropped in and seen Bretzen on display. Some day...)

This bakery is the most amazing find. The bread is fantastic and it is worth a visit for the smell alone. The carrot cake is highly recommended.
