The most notable thing about this place is the perfect name/location combination. Every time I walk towards it while crossing the road at the lights I think “heh, yeah, it is…” Granted, that’s not the best reason to pop in and if it was a common thing Dublin would be look pretty crap with lots of shops called “Near Some Lights” or “About halfway up Dame Street”, but in this case it’s enough to catch your eye.

As far as newsagents go this one is pretty standard. They have all the bits and bobs you expect a newsagents to have, they don’t rip you off with prices and it’s a handy central location for an impulse buy. If you want a better selection you’ll need to cross the road and head to the Centra, though.
