Not sure I'd sing in unison with Mark below... I thought this place was pretty good, but nothing to write home about (just here!). The staff seemed friendly and jovial, the food was good rather than bad but I was expecting something a little more sublime having heard people go on about the place. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed but quiet...almost too quiet.
I was in for lunch last Sunday having walked from Bray, so hunger was on the menu. I had the soup of the day (which came with some nice home-madey bread) and a coffee. The coffee was grand as was the soup but it wasn't as good as Id' expected. The price was reasonably good at €6-7 for the lot.
I'd go again if someone sugggested it, but I don't think it would be my first port-of-call in the area for some lunch...

These guys really know what they are doing.
If I offered my wife Patrick Guilbaud's, Shanahan's on the Green or the Happy Pear for lunch she would go for this.
Great, tasty, healthy food served in a cool environment.
Love it, love it.
