No one would believe you if you told them you went all the way to Hollywood for a pint of Guinness... and they certainly wouldn't believe you if you followed it up with the statement: "...and it was the best pint I've had for a while"... Well, it's true and it doesn't involve long haul travel... just someone willing to drive you for an hour or so!
The Hollywood Inn is one of those country pubs that you wished was your local and not an hour's drive away. It's steeped in history, friendly, has good Guinness on tap and the food is what pub grub should be - highly recommend it.... the prefect setting for an après-weekend-walk pint!
