I spent a very pleasant afternoon here. The Politicsand Passion exhibition is very well done, excellent. Well worth a visit. The resturant is very nice - pleasant and helpful staff. Cakes for afternoon tea are very good, but get there early!!

The reconstruction of Francis Bacon's studio is an absolute must on any visit to Dublin. The care and attention to detail that went into the exercise really pays off. The set-up and layout of his studio provide a huge insight into his working methods (which might not be the case for every painter) and really inform your appreciation of his work.
