Raters say we are...  traditional, care, attention, old skool, barber

What I like about Oliver is that he cuts hair well and quickly and he doesn't feel the need to burden you with his opinions or ask you about your holiday plans. I think this is pretty much all you want in a barber. Five stars.

This place is old skool. Oliver (the owner & resident barber) runs the show here and you can really tell he cares about every cut. The only drawback is that he works on his own so if there's any kind of queue you may have to wait a bit (due to his attention to detail) - but everyone gets their turn so I can't really deduct stars for that! I used to go to Squires barber shop across the road which was quick and not too bad a cut but lacked the personal touch and care that you get here (for the same price!). The other problem with Squires is that you always have someone different cutting your hair so you never know what's going to happen. With Oliver you may have to wait a little longer; that said, you're guaranteed a consistently good cut. Good selection of newspapers too so five stars from me!
