DO NOT GO HERE. This was honestly the worste hairdressing experience of my life. Please read this story before considering making an appointmnet here. I bought a voucher on livingsocialdeal website to get a haircut and treatment here for €22 (described as a €50 value) I rang up well in advance to get an appointment for a suitable time. When I rang the mobile phone number I had to check was it the right place I was ringing because it was answered with just a muffled 'hello' I could barely understand the girl on the other end og the phone but I finally made it clear what time and day I needed an appointment for. Two days before the actual appointment I rang again just to confirm it as I was worried that the girl hadn't even booked me in. This time the same girl answered the phone in the same manner and I double checked that I was confirmed for my appointment. She mumbled something which again I couldn't understand. Then she said yes. On the day of my appointment I walked in and there was only one worker in the salon who was washing someone elses hair. I stood there for a few minutes until another girl came out to me. I told her my name and appointment time but she said she didn't have any record of it. I explained that I had made the appointment over a week ago and that I had rang to confirm it two days previous. she told me there was nothing she could do because they were booked up for the day, but I had a wedding to attend the following day which is why I made my appointment for that time. Luckily (or unluckily as it later turned out) there was another girl who was waiting for an appointment but said i could go next instead because she wasn't feeling well and she would return tomorrow. I wasn't given an apology and ten minutes later I was brought to a chair to get my hair washed. The girl washing my hair didn't have a word of english. That was fine but she barely even washed it. She put a dribble of cheap shampoo on my hair, barely rubbed the top of my head, and then quickly rinsed it off with a dribble of luke warm water. Next I was brought over to get the "steam mask treatment" that came with the voucher. Presumably she was supposed to cover my hair with a conditioning mask while the heat from the steam activated it. Again she barely put any of the "mask" on my hair and then i sat under a steam lamp for 5 minutes which burnt my neck and irritated my eyes. I should have known better, as steam is REALLY bad for your hair and my hair looked frizzled after it. The next bit-the cut was the absolute WORSTE. Imagine trying to explain to someone who doesn't speak the same language as you what type of cut you want. It consisted of hand movements and head nodding. A third woman, who seemed like a friend of the other woman was now in the salon chatting away in Polish. she was called over to attempt to translate to the ""hairdresser"" what I wanted done. Some people can be nervous anyway getting their haircut in case it turns out different to what they wanted. Imagine not even speaking the same language as the person cutting your hair. After trying to come to some sort of understanding, the girl the proceeded to hack pieces of my hair off randomly. It was completely lobsided and the front parts of hair on one side was at chin level, and the other side was only touching my nose. I'm not exaggerating when I say a 6 year old could have done a better job. The final straw was the pathetic blowdry that I got. My hair was puffy and frizzy after it, there was nothing sleek looking about it. she attempted to rectify this by using a shabby-looking hair straightner. I told her i didn't want her to do anymore to my hair. She didn't ask me if I was happy with my haircut, and none of then said a word to me when I left with my hair looking like I had just been dragged through a hedge. I stepped outside the salon, but I was so annoyed that i walked straight back in to let them know how completely unacceptable this was. As there was a language barrier with the actual girl who cut my hair, I had to talk to the other girl about it. I asked her did she honestly think that it was a good service they were providing and if she thought it was acceptable to have a customer leave their salon after such an awful job being done. She just shrugged. The other girl said something. She then said that the other girl had offered to use a straightners on my hair, but that I had refused. (as if this would make up for an awful cut and blowdry) i left the salon as none of then seemed bothered about it. I have had haircuts with hairdressing schools before that were excellent. This is an absolute sham of a business. It is just a money maker, and i really doubt that any of them are qualified hairdressers. Unless you want your hair to be ruined, DO NOT GO HERE. I have considered reporting them to the consumer watchdog, although I doubt the place will be open much longer considering the hack service being provided.
