Opened in 1998, The Odeon Bar is housed in the old Harcourt Street Railway Station which was designed by George Wilkinson and was opened back in 1859. It operated as a station until 1959 and was then used as a temporary office conversion. Today The Odeon's architectural brilliance and spacious Art Deco interior makes it one of Dublin's more unique night spots and event venues.

The Odeon is a well established stop on the booze track (sorry no more train puns) with a bar as wide as a train station (last one)- making it easy for all to grab a pint or cocktail before any whistles are blown. Downstairs caters for first class trendspotting for customers seeking space and casual comfort. Dart upstairs later on in your journey to the engine room of the building where the layout is more economical but better suited to those who like to midnight express themselves on the dancefloor. Check it out and no doubt you will be buying a return ticket (I'll get my coat now). Oh and it's right on a Luas stop.

Open and spacious, with a nice outdoor section which is sheltered from the rain. They have great cocktails here. In my experience it is best to stick to the menu though, and not drink any of the bar staff's own creations!
