I took my bike here with a broken crank, I asked them them to look at it and told them that I was not sure what was wrong, just the pedal kept coming loose, they fix it and 2 months later, I have the same problem.

They offer great customer service but the service is crap when they can't do a proper job on fixing your bike!!

I cycle to work and around town every day and I own a bike I spent way too much money on. So, after a year I was looking for a place to get a tune-up. All I needed were the brakes and gears tuned, the main nuts and bolts tightened, and a wobbly mud guard fixed. ThinkBike offer this kind of service for €40. It's not cheap but these guys advertise themselves as experts, so I was hoping for a lot of TLC!

When I dropped it in the guy wrote down all the things I asked them to check and when I collected it they very kindly offered to adjust the level of my saddle as they noticed it was forward. I accepted and it's much better now!

They offer a next day collection service, which was great and even better I was texted that afternoon to say my bike was ready - nice.

However, when I started to cycle back into town, I noticed that there was noise from my back disk brake, and sure enough when I got home and had a close look, it seemed that the disk pad was adjusted too close to the disk. It only took a quarter turn of an allen key to fix but it's still a little slack. I should have checked that before I left I guess. I'm taking a star off for that, really.

So:

Pros: Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, centrally located
Cons: Check your bike before you leave! Not cheap.

I'd still recommend them, however. Some other bike shops treat you like a child and you almost feel like you are bothering them, but not these guys!
