Definitely one of the better venues in Dublin, but definitely not the best either. If you're in a balcony seat it's pretty hard to get a bad view, but it depends on what show you're there for. If you're there to watch a band and want to bounce around then the balconies or standing are fine, but don't go near the ground-floor seating, (the sound will bounce around and ruin your evening). If you're there for a comedian or something and they have the tables set up on the ground floor you'll get an amazing view, but you'll also be packed in like sardines (and without back support) for the whole show, so generally the balconies are a safer bet.

As for the shows themselves, you tend to get a really good mix of acts (mostly good quality) and the tickets are horribly expensive either. Not amazing value, but definitely one you should be keeping an eye on!

I've been here a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it as a venu. Mostly I was at comedy shows so be advised to stay away from the front seats lest you be drawn into the show as an involuntary stooge.

Amy is right - the bar is something else.
