One of the few cases where the Northside gets a nice restaurant than the Southside. I mean, the Yamaori on the quays is barely on the Northside, but it just feels a bit slicker than this one. The atmosphere tends to be nicer, the layout is better and everything's just a little better. Having said that, this one's perfectly nice too, and you're not going to have a bad meal here or anything. The food is probably about the same in both. It's not really worth crossing over the river unless you're dead keen to impress someone :P

One of the nicer places you can drop in for noodles without breaking the bank. It’s the same kind of quality of food as you get in Wagamamas, but without that same industrial chic that that place has. The pirces are pretty close too, actually, but Yamamoris has a wider selection of stuff and a selection of different wines and cocktails too.

The staff is nice, the food is good and the prices are reasonable, so while there’s nothing to really get excited about there isn’t anything to complain about either. The perfect middle-of-the-road restaurant if you don’t want to offend anyone’s taste buds by going somewhere particularly interesting or risky.
