If you like Asian food, especially Thai food, then you'll like Yo' Thai. Strategically positioned above a landmark watering hole, Yo' Thai has all the ingredients for the perfect night out. Start the night off with an aperitif in Kielys before retiring upstairs for traditional Thai fare in a not so traditional restaurant, this is especially true if you decide to go for the tippenyaki (rather than sit at a standard table). Here the Chefs cook in front of you and put on a real show: throwing utensils, juggling ingredients and catching-out less suspecting diners with tricks of the trade - it's sort of an Asian mash-up of Cirque du Soleil and Paul Daniels! The food is great, the show is fantastic and if you're lucky it'll be someone's birthday and you'll be treated to sing along at the end - much better than X Factor and a take-away at home - I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit it but I should know!!!!

I hadn't had Teppanyaki until I ate here last night. It was pretty cool! The chefs cook the food right in front of you, and they do all sorts of tricks - throwing their cooking utensils (and occasionally the food) about with great skill. The food is simple, and delicious - I had a fillet steak.
